Our Volunteers
At The Shippey Endurance Runs, we strive to provide a unique and unforgettable experience for all attendees. Our mission is to bring together like-minded individuals to celebrate and enjoy the best of what our event has to offer. Our aid station volunteers work incredibly hard to provide excellent service for all our runners and we could not and would not be who we are today if not for them. As we continue to grow we continue to see past runners take volunteer opportunities, past volunteers run and all around support our efforts. Our mission is to bring runners form all over to our little lock of land and make them our family and it is in the spirit of our volunteers in how that becomes reality.

Volunteer Opportunities
- We have two aid stations which each have 4- 8 hour shifts and we have 4-5 volunteers for each allotted time slot.
- We need volunteers for packet pickup in several timeframes during the weekend
- We host a pre and post race meal which requires 1-2 volunteers
- There may be opportunities for trail marking removal after the event is over
- We also look for hands for setup / clean up pre & post race
- Additionally, there may be opportunity for trail maintenance
- Early discounts when new event opens
All volunteers are offered some sort of swag item as a small token of appreciation for their time and efforts towards our greater cause at The Shippey Endurance Runs.
Trail Work
- We take pride in prepping our trails and in doing so we leaf blow, cut fallen trees, cut trail, and other various maintenance efforts to provide the best trail possible.
- Typically we do most of our maintenance in December, but other times pending needs could be early spring/September
- We also do maintenance in March/April or late May
- This opportunity is open to all who are looking for trail work hours for other events and could be validated for your needs
