The Shippey Caps off the EMUS Series

After many conversations beginning with the 2026 Shippey Endurance Runs, The Shippey will be the integral final event of the St. Louis Ultrarunners Group(SLUGs) EMUS(Eastern Missouri Ultra Series). 

This series consists of 6 events  which feature various distances as well as timed looped events. In each participants  are awarded points based on their race's distance,/ miles completed and gender based placement. 

Point example: 100 mile finish nets a runner 100points, additionally, if that person is also 1st Male/Female they could attain 50 more points netting them 150 points in this pivotal final race of the series!

Qualifying distance: The Shippey 20mile, 40mile, 100k and 100mi solo events will all qualify as the final event in the series each year, which rolls March-January. 

We are grateful for the opportunity to belong to such a long standing group in the local trail and ultra scene and help continue to grow it for the foreseeable future.
